"Chris  "CW"  Sowa is a singer songwriter based in Austin, TX with such influences as Led Zeppelin, Cat Stevens, War on Drugs and music of the 1960s, and early 70s.  While learning how to write songs from the Old Town School of Folk Music in Chicago as a young man, at 24 years old he decided that songs were something he wanted to enjoy creating.  While playing clubs in Illinois and playing bass for Sonny's Reach, he decided to head-on-down to Texas to learn how to be a creator of the "story" song.  He played for a few years in Austin in the mid 2000s pen name (Leavitt).   Now he is back with a new sound and more finely honed pickin skills!  Performing with all new original material and a few more years under his belt.   Check out his earlier recordings at <a href="https://soundcloud.com/christopher-leavitt" target="_blank">https://soundcloud.com/christopher-leavitt</a>.     More recordings on the way!"
